Our curator Bibiana Huang Matheis gave this piece its name. The wings on the curious mannered looking blue boy were a dead giveaway that there was fairy activity going on. There is a part of my personality that is curious, inquisitive and loves the act of discovery. Like a child it is an absolute necessity to feel that I can express freely without judgment whether painting, writing or simply being all that I can be of my crazy selves. The scattered yet uniformed pieces that show above the beings head are the many signs and figures of some non-human that my imagination takes when being creative.
