April to April 2020 – 2021
Through the first months of the worldwide covid pandemic –
Through fear, sickness, death, and orders to shelter-in-place –
Through zoom meetings, mask mandates, and clear, blue skys –
Through the murder of George Floyd & rightful protests –
Through a presidential election and denial of its results –
Through the insurrection at our nation’s capitol –
Through the inauguration of our 46th president –
And through the release of a vaccine –
This year was like no other –
