Artist Statement
Through the process of gelli plate transfer, I captured images that evoke branches or veins. By the very nature of the method, some emerged clear and defined, while others transformed into suggestive abstractions. With these prepared sheets, I established a visual dialogue with images drawn from biology: hearts that repeat frequently, alongside other organs appearing intermittently. In this way, I composed my book—an artwork full of abundance, where the organic and the abstract coexist within the same pulse.
