Dialogues with Painting on Clear Acrylic Plates
Breast cancer patients from Metropolitan Hospital will connect with the artists by collaboratively painting on clear acrylic plates. Our goal is to rebuild ourselves, our loved ones, and our surroundings.
Project at the Metropolitan Hospital, NYC
Art for a Change is a project facilitated by Inspiration Art Group member Monique Allain. Starting on October 3rd, 2024, she and other artists will be at the 8th Floor Infusion Center in the Main Building of Metropolitan Hospital on the first Thursday of every month from 1:30 to 3:30 pm to paint with breast cancer patients (limited to 12 participants per day). During most of these dialogues with paint, Bibiana Huang Matheis will play healing piano music.
In October 2025, the paintings created will be part of an exhibition and there will be a final auction. 100% of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to the hospital to purchase medical equipment.

All of us, inhabitants of the planet, are part of this body, which is Earth. We are like its cells. We belong to the Cosmos; we are part of it, and we are interconnected. By focusing on healing our planet, we also rebuild ourselves, our loved ones, and our surroundings. Healing is a universal process that starts with our thoughts and beliefs.
