Sentinels
- Repurposed Plastic
- Height-8’-10’
- The 12-18 sculptures will be installed by standing on a tall ladder and hung using monofilament or strong cotton twine.
- The installation is virtually maintenance free, being plastic they can withstand most weather situations. And due to their ephemeral nature any changes over time are part of the sculpture.
The Sentinels installation will consist of 12-18 sculptures. These sculptures will hang from either the framework of the greenhouse or from the branches of a tree creating a forest of white with an ephemeral appearance. Though the sculptures are large they are extremely lightweight and will sway in the breeze. They are weather-resistant due to being made entirely of plastic. Guests will be free to move within the sculpture, experiencing art and nature simultaneously.
