  • The flowers are formed from sheet aluminum, painted and mounted on a steel rod, which is imbedded in the earth. Each flower will be approximately 3-4 feet in diameter. Occasional dusting or washing is all that is needed over short term.

These sculptures are a celebration of flowers and the joy they bring us. Sometimes they can be involved in happy celebrations as well as somber recollections.

I have a BFA from Cooper Union; a MFA from Brooklyn College; and a JD from St. John’s. I was on staff at Cooper; Faculty at Brooklyn College; and an Adjunct at New Jersey City University. One of my sculptures was featured in the 1968 Haskell Wexler film: “Medium Cool”, and in 2005, I was commissioned to create, and honored to present a sculpture to H.H. John Paul II at a private audience just weeks before he passed away. A number of private collectors have my work, as well as a couple of museums. Before I was drafted into the Army in 1966, I was an Architecture major at the University of Florida, where I was, inter alia, Humor Editor of the Florida Orange Peel.
