“Whirling Eddys” captures Autumn blue skies and the currents of fast-moving streams, with their cold waters not yet frozen.  Floating in the swirling waters are the last seed pods of summer containing all the colors of the warm season hidden inside their outer shells. These miniature time-capsules flee the approach of winter on stream currents searching for a muddy bank to burrow into, a place to sleep through frozen snow until they can bloom again in Spring.
