She studied painting and art history at the Maryland Institute College of Art\, Parsons in Paris at the American College\, and Hunter College in NYC. She taught Art Appreciation in Hoboken\, NJ\, and has given many lectures about her art work and her children’s books. She also wrote and performed 13 Murder Mystery dinner parties. Leslie has many hobbies including horseback riding\, beekeeping\, poultry keeping\, gardening\, skiing\, sailing\, and at one point\, dog showing.
