SUMMARY:Who Is She?
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Tilly Strauss \n\n\n\nQuarterly Virtual Presentation Series: Celebrating Women Artists\n\n\n\n\n\nThis new quarterly virtual series will honor the exceptional contributions of women artists\, spotlighting those whose birthdays and significant milestones fall within each season. Each session will weave together historical context\, artistic legacies\, visual storytelling\, and recommendations for places to view their work. The goal is to create a dynamic\, immersive experience that nurtures both knowledge and connection. \n\n\n\nThis presentation aligns with International Women’s Day and the third anniversary of the Inspiration Arts Group International\, making it a birthday celebration of sorts—honoring creative voices of the past and our vibrant community today. Each artist will be introduced with a birthday scene or a cake reflecting their spirit\, inviting participants to celebrate their lives and lasting influence. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe March Presentation: The First of the Series\n\n\n\n\n\nThe March session will be the inaugural event in this quarterly series\, providing an engaging introduction to the vital role women have played in shaping the art world. Focusing on 5 women whose birthdays and key anniversaries fall in the spring season\, we will delve into the unique stories of their lives and work. Expect a rich blend of historical context\, visual storytelling\, and practical guidance on where to experience their work in person or virtually. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMarch Artwomen:\n\n\n\n\nElaine de Kooning\n\n\n\nMeta Vaux Warrick Fuller\n\n\n\nRosa Bonheur\n\n\n\nMatilda Geddings Gray\n\n\n\nYayoi Kusuma\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWatch Video at 10 am on March 8\, 2025 or after\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFuture Sessions
