I am greatly influenced by the intuitive works of Madame Marie Laveau, the art of Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock, Jean Michel Basquiat, Yayoi Kusama, and a few others. Most paintings that I work on are based on the optical characteristics of brilliant colors, energetic and expressive brushstrokes that deliberately emphasize the sweep of my arm, and the movement of my hand. I am a “Visual Intuitive Abstract Expressionist who uses art as a spiritual connection that allows me to say what I feel as images form through the layers of paint.

Art expresses itself through all realms of existence.  There are no words for what I do for it is not I who does it. When I touch a canvas, piece of wood, or paper, the images are there. The movement of fingers and the tools needed to express art at its highest are instructed by energetic forces that are incomprehensible to the human mind and of which I cannot explain to anyone only share its meaning and feeling as it presents itself to me
