I am a multidisciplinary and multimedia ART(IV)IST which supports life with peace in a sustainable environment. Born and raised in São Paulo to French/Mexican parents (1958), I moved to US (2018) and settled in North Salem, NY (2020). I live and produce in search of my place and my peers, foreigner everywhere with scattered memories and roots.

The mystery of being alive fascinates me. Fractals, Dynamic Systems, and Chaos Theory are sources of inspiration. Among snakes and lizards, at first and by mistake I became a biologist. I worked as an environmental consultant for the “Terra Capital Fund”, first in the world focusing on biodiversity preservation. When I tripped over a camera, I realized that life was to be lived with poetry. In 2000 I gave everything up and started to produce artworks. I’ve got a Bachelors and Master degree in Visual Arts. My work has been presented in individual and collective exhibitions in museums, galleries and public spaces in Brazil and abroad.

I am interested in IDENTITY regarding its particular and collective nature, and its relationship with space, time and otherness. I do performances, installations and interventions in which situations of connection with the environment & time (GROUNDING or HABITATIONS), situations of connection with others (DIALOGUES), and immersive situations of self-connection can be experienced. I use video, photography and painting, exploring the synesthetic potential of the limits, transitions and overlays of those diverse medias. Lygia Clark in her search for the “Structuring of the Self” is a prime reference.
