Often a narrative aspect reveals itself in my work, integrated between expressive and abstract elements. I am inspired by a visual language belonging to the tradition started by painters Dove, Carr and Burchfield. I am also interested in eco-spirituality and the connectedness found when listening either in meditation, the arts, or wherever we may find our call to love. The overarching theme and intention of the work is to create objects that visualize a connectedness with life balancing confidence and ambiguity.
