Esmeralda Ortiz-Luis Lyn, Ph.D

Esmeralda Ortiz-Luis Lyn is the C.V. Starr Distinguished Professor Emerita of Finance at the Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, N.Y.  She has published numerous articles in international and international finance journals.  She is a culinary and art enthusiast and has written essays, reviews and columns in various topics of interests.  She is an active advocate for women and serves on the Board of the think tank, the Institute for Women’s Policy Research.

Dr. Lyn is the Co-Founder of the Global ShareResource Foundation whose mission is to connect opportunities to remote communities in many countries to sustain economic and social growth through basic education, livelihood and leadership skills.
