Stanley Eisenman is a fine artist living and working in Westchester County, NY. Born in Brooklyn in 1935, Eisenman’s early talent for art was recognized at Lincoln High School, where he studied under Leon Friend.

He attended Brooklyn College, majoring in art and studying under renowned artists Burgoyne Diller, Ad Reinhardt, Carl Holty, Jimmy Ernst, and Kurt Seligmann, and Ivan Chermayeff. Eisenman graduated with honors and received the “All Arts Award.” In 1961, Eisenman founded Eisenman Associates, where he earned AIGA and Art Directors awards for design excellence for visual designs he created for clients including the Museum of Modern Art, Izod, and PepsiCo. In 1970, he was one of 12 leading designers asked by the Moratorium Committee Against the War in Vietnam to create a “Peace” poster, which was exhibited at the OK Harris Gallery in New York City and featured in “The Design of Dissent,” published by Rockport Publishers. During his career as a graphic designer, he continued to nurture his love for painting and sculpting. Now retired, he concentrates on his artwork. Stan was one of six Westchester artists (including Martha Stewart) invited to paint violins that were auctioned to help support the Westchester Philharmonic. Stan’s artwork has been featured in Life Magazine and has been exhibited at the OK Harris Gallery in New York, and the Katonah Museum of Art. His pieces are in the private collections of PepsiCo, Barney’s NY, and the Westchester Philharmonic, among others.
